PicoGenesis FX is a unique laser treatment that utilises sound to create micro-vacuums within the skin to resurface it. This method is particularly effective for darker skin types and atrophic scars. PicoGenesis is also renowned for its ability to treat hyperpigmentation concerns.
PicoGenesis uses a hologram lens, which is placed in front of the laser beam which trebles the intensity and penetration, differentiating it from the traditional no downtime PicoGenesis facial.
Cool Laser is also known as an Erbium resurfacing laser. The version we use at our clinic, the Dermablate, is wonderful for most skin types. It’s especially effective for treating acne scars, anti-ageing concerns, and superficial pigmentation issues. It is extremely versatile and we offer light versions as an alternative to light peels and fruit acid peels and it’s most intense form is the strongest resurfacing laser we offer. Downtime can range from 0 to 12 days.
The third treatment is NeoGen Plasma, a remarkable option because it generates nitrogen plasma which not only acts on the surface but penetrates beneath the skin, promoting healing and tightening. This treatment significantly improves the appearance of scars and skin texture. This treatment is our go-to for the most mature skin types, as the nitrogen plasma contains nitric oxide; a regenerative gas that has healing and anti-microbial actions which also makes it our go-to to help active scar resurfacing for those that still have a tendency for breakouts.
This innovative, cutting-edge technology helps reset the cells and changes how the cell membrane functions. It enhances the intake of nutrients and oxygen into the cells, facilitates waste removal, and aids in tissue remodelling. It is particularly effective for stretch marks and has a lifting effect on all types of skin injuries.

The treatment works by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, which can drastically improve skin texture, tone, and firmness. It is particularly effective against hypertrophic scars, severe acne, and other textural irregularities. It can also be combined with other cosmetic treatments, such as microneedling, chemical peels, and injectables, to achieve the best results imaginable. We can also administer neurotoxin treatments and/or derma fillers same day.
The treatments are best described as mildly uncomfortable. Before your treatment we can apply some numbing cream; however, our patients find it unnecessary on many occasions.
Some redness and minor swelling on the surrounding skin may be present for up to two days following the treatment, and some small scabs may occur on the surface of the skin in the week after your treatment. Some patients may also feel dry and flaky, as the skin is regenerating from within, but all side effects resolve within a week.
This will depend on your skin type and the skin condition you would like to treat. You will be given options once a full consultation with Dr Sach has taken place.
Patients can see results in as little as 3 weeks, depending on the treatment indication. Your skin will continue to improve and will peak at around 12 months after treatments.
