Laser Hair Removal

There are various hair removal lasers on the market, all making various claims and priced at various levels. Laser Hair Reduction works by targeting the pigment in the hair, conducting heat to the base of the follicle destroying the bulb responsible for re-growth. Though we use market-leading lasers, results may vary from patient to patient.

Not all lasers are the same and the efficacy of the laser is dependent upon having the right laser for your skin type and hair colour. Ensure that your practitioner has the experience to determine the necessary energy and the requisite duration each pulse is delivered.

A patch test is required at your complimentary consultation 24 hours prior to your hair removal procedure. It is a comfortable procedure as the skin is cooled with a burst of cryogen spray prior to the delivery of the laser energy. Usually 6 treatment sessions are required, though this does vary.
