Coolsculpting

(From £500/cycle)
  • THE TREATMENT

CoolSculpting, the non-surgical alternative to liposuction, eliminates stubborn and unwanted fat without risks, anaesthesia or downtime. Invented by a team at Harvard University, it’s the only FDA-approved treatment of its kind. Using revolutionary cryolipolysis technology it targets, freezes and eliminates fat cells, without causing harm to the surrounding tissue. Once eliminated, the fat cells are gone for good.

  • HOW IT WORKS

CoolSculpting works by targeting pockets of stubborn fat and freezing them, resulting in the fat cells being broken down and eliminated from the body via the lymphatic system. Immediately before the treatment, the skin in the target area is covered with a gel pad for protection. A treatment applicator is then applied to the area. The fat deposits are gently sucked into the applicator and frozen to a temperature of up to -11°C.

Within a few minutes, the area is numbed by the cold, causing the fat cells to die. When the applicator is removed, the skin is massaged to break down the fat cells, and we can then move to the next area.

  • TREATMENT AREAS

CoolSculpting can be applied to almost any area of the body. If you can pinch it, we can treat it with one of our many different CoolSculpting applicators. The areas we treat most often at Revere include the abdomen, back, flanks (love handles), inner and outer thighs, chin, chest, knees and arms.

At Revere, the CoolSculpting treatment cost starts at £700, with packages available for multiple cycles. Contact our expert practitioners to arrange a complimentary consultation, where we can answer all your questions and give you an accurate quote.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is it safe?

CoolSculpting is the only FDA-approved treatment of its kind. It involves no needles and no anaesthesia, eliminating the risks associated with invasive procedures. With over 4 million treatments performed worldwide, its safety record is proven.

  • What are the side effects?

Some patients may experience superficial side-effects from CoolSculpting, including redness, tingling and aching. Revere doctors and therapists are specifically trained for the CoolSculpting procedure, ensuring that your treatment will be conducted in a safe environment and you will receive necessary support and guidance post treatment.

  • When will I see my results?

Some of our patients can see the CoolSculpting results as little as 3 weeks after the treatment, while the final results will be noticed after 12 weeks. You will be invited for a review with a Revere practitioner, where we will discuss your CoolSculpting journey and compare before and after photos.

  • Am I a good candidate for CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting is designed for those who have unwanted fat that resists diet and exercise. During the complimentary consultation our practitioners will discuss your goals and establish whether CoolSculpting is the right procedure for you. Generally speaking, if you can grab it, we can treat it with CoolSculpting.

  • Why are there mixed reviews online?

There main reason is that the more you do, the more you lose. Some people have expected results with just one single cycle. 1 cycle loses half a cups worth of fat.

  • Is it permanent? How many times do I have to do it?

Yes, CoolSculpting is permanent. You can do it all in one go as well, however we would recommend that you treat one area well, rather than multiple areas sparingly.

  • How does it compare to liposuction?

CoolSculpting is not as invasive as liposuction and is ideal for patients that want to avoid the risk and recovery time associated with liposuction.
